Native American Indian Bead Working Class

6 Classes, every Tuesday from 1:15-2:45 p.m. 

Class dates: 11/01, 11/08. 11/15, No class on 11/22, 11/29, 12/06, 12/13

Project: Beaded bracelet or earrings

Class Description:

In this class, students will learn about the various Native American tribes, their bead designs and color schemes, as well as be exposed to several very fine examples of traditional beadwork. Further on they will be able to choose and create their own design of beadwork for a pair of earrings or a bracelet. Work step by step along an instructor to complete their design and unique piece of jewelry. Not only will they have the joy of playing with an array of colors and creating simple designs, but they will also get a glimpse into the wonderful world of the natives of this continent and learn to appreciate and know this fascinating people and more!

Once signed up, students must participate for the entire session!
