Designing a Runway Show


Explore the world of Fashions by designing and realizing a small Runway show. In this 3-month course, students will learn the various steps involved in creating a garment. From sketching to drafting and sewing students will get the way of working towards a small runway show, learn the steps involved in creating a wearable garment. From sketching to drafting and sewing students in creating a runway show and explore the feel and drape of fabrics, from sketching to as from designing, to creating patterns or altering patterns, to choosing fabric and to fabrication of the garment. Students need to have basic sewing skills as well as some drawing skills and need to bring a general zest and interest for creativity and handwork. For teaching purposes, the theme for the show will be given by the instructor!
